Stefano Persi (Mosaic Factor), together with Eric Armengaud (Armengaud Innovate) and Edin Artaunovic (TTTech Auto) will showcase the session titled “Software Defined Vehicles: Innovation, Collaboration, and Competitiveness in the Automotive Industry” at the ITS Congress in Istanbul.
This panel examines how Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs) are reshaping the industry, highlighting the role of hardware abstraction and open-source collaboration in driving innovation.
With a “code-first” approach, the industry moves from theoretical standards to real-world implementation on modular, safety-ready platforms.
Key initiatives such as HAL4SDV, FEDERATE, and TWIN-LOOP aim to build a shared European middleware ecosystem, reducing fragmentation through common interfaces and enabling a smooth transition from legacy E/E architectures.
The result: faster integration, lower costs, and scalable platforms that deliver continuously updated, personalized user experiences.
Organizer: Sara Garcia (Mosaic Factor)
Moderator: Peter Priller (AVL)
Speakers: Stefano Persi (Mosaic Factor), Eric Armengaud (Armengaud Innovate), Velimira Grau (European Commission, DG CNECT), Edin Arnautovic (TTTech Auto).
